"Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" Movie Poster
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
Description:
The film involves Borat leaving his home in Kazakhstan to go to the "U.S. and A." and record a documentary at the behest of the fictitious Kazakh Ministry of Information. He leaves behind his mother, wife, and the town rapist, bringing along his obese producer Azamat Bagatov. Much of the movie from this point on features unstaged vignettes of Borat interviewing and interacting with Americans who believe he is an actual foreign TV personality with no understanding of American customs.

The Hottest State

Not since the 1994 Classic Forrest Gump, have wee seen a movie that filled us with hope, with such inspiration that…oh wait, that was a different movie, this was Borat. Borat is a mocumentary, about a news broadcaster from Kazakhstan, who is sent on location to the United States to make a documentary on the greatest country in the world. Upon his arrival, and first experience with American Television, Borat becomes obsessed with the idea of meeting and marrying Bay Watch star, Pamela Anderson.
Over the last few months since the movies release you may have heard that legal action has been taken against the creators of this film. That is where this movie becomes tough for me. Without a doubt, one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, but rumors of unethical film practices continue to rise and tarnish this very successful film.
Probably the rudest, and most politically incorrect film you will ever see, Borat will have you laughing until it hurts. Do not see this movie if you are easily offended.
