So who all has seen this movie?  I just watched it, and thought it was absolutely fantastic.  Both Reese and Jauquine were excelent in it, and there was so  much i didnt know about Johnny Cash that this movie dived into.  I know a lot of people didnt like it, or didnt think it should have won any awards because they felt like it was a remake of Ray, but i honestly think it was a better movie.  I enjoyed Ray, but after seeing Walk the Line, i want to go out and buy all the "cash" CD's i can find.  I definately recomend this to you if you have not seen it.

I definitely agree with you.  "Walk the Line" was WAY better than Ray.  Of course, I'm a little biased because I've heard a lot of Cash's music and knew somewhat of what has happened in his life.  Joaquin was just amazing, as he always is...he truly brought the soul of the "Man in Black" to the big screen.  And I am very proud of Reese Witherspoon for stepping out of the "Legally Blonde" stereotype.  It is so hard to not be typecast, she must have wonderful agents!  She did an outstanding job.

I had "Ring of Fire" in my head for 3 days after seeing the movie!  In fact, after leaving the theater, I immediately went home and played his Greatest Hits CD.  His rendition of "Hurt" is even more heartbreaking after watching that film.

This was a really great movie. I laughed, I cried, I got mad....wonderful!!  The acting was superb.  This flick has made it to my all time favorite movie list, this is not an easy task.  I recomended this one to every one, even people who didn't like Johnny Cash.  A spectacular love story and a great story about rebuilding a life.  The best part is the truth in it.  You can do it if you believe in it.

I was waiting for this movie being a Johnny Cash fan for quite sometime. There were many good points. The acting was wonderful. I dont think anyone could have matched Cash as well as he did. It was a laugh and cry kinda movie. The only thing I didnt like  and was disappointed by is that Johnny Cash had a longer life it seemed to me that the movie was very "short" like it covered only a small amount of time. But again whether a fan or not... Its a must see..
